Hello Eniyavan, Were you able install latest version of qemu on your ubuntu ?It seems that the ubuntu package manager, by-default installs an older version of qemu.
You can build it from source to install the latest version: https://www.qemu.org/download/#source Please feel free ask if you face any issues. thanks Ragini
