Hello Mohan:
Great to hear you installed VirtualBox on your Windows laptop. Appreciate your
quick response.
Here are the steps to follow:
0. ArchLinux installation guide is available at
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Installation_guide
1. download the ArchLinux LiveCD ISO image to your laptop
http://mirror.rackspace.com/archlinux/iso/2020.08.01/archlinux-2020.08.01-x86_64.iso
2. Create a New VM env with 2048 GB RAM (memory) and 16 GB Virtual disk (VDI
type) which is 'dynamically allocated'.
3. Attach the startup-disk to the arch-linux ISO image file
4. Bring up the VM.
If all goes fine, you should be inside a ArchLinux liveCD environment.
5. ping archlinux.org and confirm if internet access is working for the LiveCD
environment on the VM.
