Hello,

Few points on the below keyserver:

1. It is a valid keyserver, here is the link:
https://sks-keyservers.net/overview-of-pools.php

2. HKPS is the first web-based PGP keyserver which was written for thesis by Marc Horowitz
Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Key_server_(cryptographic)

I am still trying to resolve the issue, I have tried few things mentioned on sks-keyservers.net site and also on the archlinux.org

I am digging into it, if anybody else has some pointers, Please free to share.

Wanted to keep the thread updated.

thanks

Hello,

Today we tried to a fresh installation on Virtual Box for archlinux and got the
following error, while we were at the pacstrap step.

Error:

invalid of corrupted package (PGP signature)

We tried the following to update the signatures:
pacman-key --init
pacman-key --refresh

the second command gave us error "A specified local key could not be updated from a
keyserver."

The keyserver it is refering to is "hkps://hkps.pool.sks-keyservers.net"

This does not seem to be the correct URL, there is no such protocol as hkps

When typed and searched over internet, the above got resolved to
https://sks-keyservers.net, However, when trying to execute pacman-key
--refresh --keyserver https://sks-keyservers.net gives the same error as above.

What could be the possible issue ?

thanks
