Ajay has provided you detailed installation instructions for ArchLinux. Most of
us use ArchLinux at Strikr.
You have *freedom of choice* to install any GNU/Linux distro as you wish :-)
You may wish to read up the documentation on the site of the specific distro
that you wish to install.
AFAIK Gentoo has excellent documentation and you should check out the
installation guide.
