By having a topic “Sukuk and development Challenge in Indonesia”, the conference is purposed to get new perspectives about sukuk and development challenge in Indonesia, theoretically, empirically and also fiqh side of it; that can be recommended and used by the Government for the nation’s economic policy. The selected papers from the conference will be bundled and published as a proceeding book. The best papers will get awards. A. TOPIC “Sukuk and Development Challenge in Indonesia” SUB TOPICS: 1. Sukuk as a Potential Alternative Financing Scheme in the Period of Nowadays Economic Crisis 2. Sukuk as an Instrument to Connect Financial and Real Sector; and Its Role for the Nation’s Financial Stability 3. Sukuk as a source of Financing for Development in Globalization and Free Trade Era 4. Sukuk for Agriculture and Agro-Industry Development: Opportunities and Threats in Indonesia’s Green Revolution” 5. Sukuk and the Development of Infrastructure: the Role and Prospects of Sukuk in Accelerating Indonesia’s Infrastructure Development. 6. Sukuk and Housing Sectors: Innovations and Growth of Housing to Meet the Need from the Society in Indonesia 7. Regional Government-Sukuk to Accelerate the Regional Development of Indonesia in Todays Regional Autonomous or Decentralized Era) 8. Private Corporations-Sukuk and State Corporations-Sukuk to Accelerate the Development of Infrastructure in Indonesia by Private Sectors) B. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1. The participants are undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students, as well as academicians, practitioners, and general) 2. Every paper that submitted will belong to the committees; However, the intellectual property rights remain in the ownerships of the authors when the papers get published. 3. The paper has to be originally made by the participants and the papers have never been published or presented before. Plagiarism is very PROHIBITED. The committee will not be accept plagiarism. 4. The selected abstracts are to be finished in a full paper. Then, the selected (full) paper will be presented in the Academic Conference and printed out as a proceeding. 5. The best papers will get award amounted to total IDR 20 million included certificates. C. WRITING FORMAT 1. The abstract consists of maximum 500 words 2. The full paper can be written in English as well as Bahasa 3. The full paper consists of minimum 20 pages, excludes tables, graphics, images and attachments. 4. The full paper is submitted in a form of softcopy by using format Microsoft Word or equivalent format, page size A4, Times New Roman, font size 12, line space 1, space (after) 6 pts. 5. The full paper is submitted in a form of hard copies (3 copies) and in a CD , for the softcopy 6. The softcopy of abstract as well as the full paper is sent to [email protected] D. TIME SCHEDULE 1.
