Re: http://www.mail-archive.com/fossil-users@lists.fossil-scm.org/msg24316.html
Seriously, guys, this is currently the most-recent version. This may be confusing to any new user who'd try d/l fossil binary for Linux. Ironically this may work when the user's system is 64-bit, still some may give up not seeing a 64-bit binary. The worst case is when the system is 32-bit, say, some current user that decides to update -- then it'just a no-go for no apparent reason. In case it's a question of man-power, I'd volunteer to correct this. The very least just attribute the Linux x86 v1.36 on the page as 64-bit. Still, has it been already decided whether to present both Linux 32-bit and 64-bit versions? Also, what's the current standing on STATIC vs. DYNAMIC build? STATIC 32-bit build may not run correctly on 64-bit OS. Thanks. _______________________________________________ fossil-dev mailing list fossil-dev@mailinglists.sqlite.org http://mailinglists.sqlite.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fossil-dev
