I computed the following out of curiosity. No response required: The fossil-scm.org website is seeing about 1600 distinct human visitors per day, or about 8600 per week.
A "distinct human visitor" is defined as a distinct IP address with a UserAgent string that matches one of "Mozilla/*" or "Opera/*" or "Safari/*". In terms of total HTTP requests, the numbers are 185K per week or about one every 3.3 seconds. There are about 40 distinct humans download of prebuilt binaries or source tarballs per day, or about 250 per week. There are about 55 distinct IP addresses that "sync" or "clone" against the Fossil self-hosting repository per day, or about 170 per week. This is, of course, nowhere near the volume one normally sees for e-commerce or funny-cat-videos style websites, but isn't half bad for a nerdy geek website. SQLite.org sees about 20x the volume by any measure. -- D.
