I hadn't noticed,  however, perhaps the timeline  view preference cookie
is impacting your view? Here's what I see:

Comment:        Consolidated annotation file and manifest lookup code. This 
changes the error handling for the annotation web page to report an error 
rather than redirect to home. It also enables omitting the checkin query 
parameter when used with a server running within a checkout. (Later, by drh:) 
Move this code onto a branch because of build errors on Ubuntu.

using the  Verbose View  timeline cookie preference.  Which one  are you
using?
