The log files are /root/fo-post-afterldso.txt on both boxes if you want to look. I think that's progress! :) Also, the Debian boxes don't throw the PHP errors that CentOS does. The update file is /etc/ld.so.conf.d/libextractor.conf, which contains the path (/usr/lib/libextractor) on one line. You should probably submit this back to the fossology guys so they can include this in their packages.
