Hi Mary,

You're right -- the section text is a little skimpy.

The "States" are denoted by each of the bold function. Install,
Initialize, PostInitialize, OutputOpen, etc.

The "Stages" are the section subheadings (Installation, Run-Time
Initialization, Output, Cleanup).

The picture for "Plugin Process
Flow" (http://fossology.org/ui_architecture_overview) shows the order
that the stages are processed and which states are invoked.

Would you mind revising the paragraph after the heading "Plugin States"?
You'll probably also want to link in the picture.
