This program is installed in $(BINDIR) (so usually /usr/local/bin or
/usr/bin). That's a pretty generic name for a system bin directory.
I don't see any immediate conflicts in debian ('apt-file seach bin/notify'
shows some near misses) but there is a notify(7) manpage which might cause
problems.
Maybe name it fo-notify or something?
