Good question, although FYI you sent this to the fo list, not me. But fortunately I always monitor the fo mailing list :-) I have a set of VM's created to test on RHEL4u7, CentOS 4.7, RHEL5.2 and CentOS 5.2 (yes, CentOS and RHEL are "virtually identical" but I wanted one of each just to be sure). I also set up a "snapshot" in each VM immediately after completing the OS install, so that at any time during testing I can magically reset the VM back to its pristine OS install state. I expect that using this, I can flush out any remaining issues. As you know, Bruno Cornec is also hard at work getting the RPM post-install steps worked out, thanks in part to Chan's refinements to the install process on RHEL. Between Chan's notes, my testing, and Bruno's work, I think we may have RPMs very soon. However, my progress has been slowed the last few days due to tons of other interruptions. Hopefully the rest of this week I'll have some more time to continue testing. I will send out updates to the list as soon as there is more to report. I think Bruno/Chan have already been reporting their findings as well.
