My totaly unaothirzed opinion is yes. Release early, release often. And as my mantra is pckageearly, package often, that would give nore exposure to my RPM packaging. Matt, once the RPMs have been validated by some users, It would be great to discuss of the inclusion of the post-install code I made for it, in the Debian pkg (or better in a go-postsomething script. And then I coul also incorporate your debian build files to generate packages for the vrious Debin/Ubuntu releases with pb.
