Hi all, At Bob's suggestion, I have created a stub page to document how we test FOSSology prior to making a release.
http://www.fossology.com/release_testing Until now we have used a variety of test plans and individual tests to accomplish our releases, but these have been ad hoc, and poorly documented. By creating this page, I hope to begin formalizing the tests that we must pass before any new FOSSology release. I expect that the FOSSology team will use this page as a literal checklist of the tests that must be completed (and pass!) before any new release. Anyone interested in FOSSology testing, please take a close look at this and provide comments to this list. Note that this is the first pass of the document, not a complete test plan yet. Note also that as we find new issues, and as our automated testing matures, I expect this plan to grow and change.
