That has not been my experience. I've used it extensively to get rpms for both OpenSuSE and RHEL with great success. Are you saying that you can't find the rpm's you want? The searching can be a bit tricky, but once mastered, works well. For instance, include CentOS in your search if you're trying to get something for RHEL.
