Look at Admin > Scheduler > Status
to see if the scheduler still has a heartbeat. Do that by looking at
the scheduler update time. It should be within 20 seconds of the
system clock time. If it is not, the scheduler is hung or died. To
see if it has died, do a ps -ef | grep sched
If it doesn't show up, then the process has died.
Either way, you should be able to do /etc/init.d/fossology restart
Better yet, install version 1.1
The packages can found at:
deb http://fossology.org/debian/1.1.0~rc5-T/lenny/ ./
deb http://fossology.org/debian/1.1.0~rc5-T/etch/ ./
1.1 includes a watchdog daemon to restart the scheduler automatically
if the scheduler should die or hang.
