Welcome Michael, The fossology-sysadmin list is only for the fossology project sys admins. It contains things like notices of subscription requests to fossology.org. So you probably don't want to be on this list.
The other lists are: 1) [email protected] This is our general public mailing list. If you have a question, suggestion, bug report, complaint, kudos, etc about fossology, this is the list to write. It has the largest distribution to make your comments heard by other fossology users. 2) [email protected] This is the list to be on if you are contributing to the fossology project or want to keep up with discussions the developers are having. People on this list have permission to enter bugs into our bug tracking system. 3) [email protected] These are automatically generated emails every time there is a checkin to our subversion repository. We also have a public IRC channel so you can talk to us in real time. See http://www.fossology.org/projects/fossology/wiki/Contact_Us And we have an online forum http://www.fossology.org/projects/fossology/boards that I see you have already posted a question on and I'll answer asap unless one of the other developers beats me to it. Lastly you can always contact me or others on the development team if you don't wish to be public with your comments. This is the worst option because one persons comments are frequently valuable to others, but is sometimes necessary.
