Hello Kotrappa,

It’s been a while since I’ve run the FOSSology SPDX module but I believe it
reports the SHA1. We actually store the SHA1 (and MD5 and filesize) in our
pfile table for every file. The files are also stored by SHA1.MD5.size in the
file system. So the information is readily available without recomputing. You
can even see it when you “View File Information” from the Browse window. But
what you are asking for is it to be available from the license and copyright
lists. Unfortunately, there isn’t currently an option to print it out there.

I’d recommend:
1) install the SPDX module and parse the output file
2) file an enhancement request for fossology 2.7.0
3) submit a patch for what you want

Thanks,
Bob Gobeille
