Hi Community members, I would invite all to try the python module named: easy_fossy It is developed purely for ease of use , ease of contribution and all with the latest features of python 3.10(mainly structural matches).
*pip install easy-fossy * https://pypi.org/project/easy-fossy/2.0.1/ https://test.pypi.org/project/easy-fossy/2.0.1/ Some features: 1. all endpoints in the openAPI spec <https://raw.githubusercontent.com/fossology/fossology/master/src/www/ui/api/documentation/openapi.yaml>are covered 2. Auto populating the api key in config 3. avoid redundant uploads if the file already exists. 4. All reports downloadable (as allowed by the api spec) 5. retry uploads to achieve some higher order functions which depend upon it. Attention: 1. Requires python 3.10 (as it uses new features) 2. Some functions are purposefully repeated for code readability purposes to attract more contributions. Invitation for contributions to add more higher order functions.
