Poor Rob, alas, it is his job too, and I can only wish my editorial work
never weighthed on his shoulders in what concerns clean editing — I’m too
much guilty in other departments…

As I know Rob does take a cursory look on editorial quality, and indeed
some egregious cases of lack thereof have been sent back to the drawing
board. It could be argued that not enough times, but still.

As for delegating this job as as full fledged position — I’m all for it,
but anyone with enough spare time and skills to do it would be better
editing pages themselves instead?

I wouldn’t mind making an enemy of someone so foolish who’d take
criticism as offense.

I do not see how, but I hope you’re right.
