I have just uploaded the Firefox addon. Although it works perfectly on http://www.flickr.com/photos/75062596@N00/164893152 , it is not working perfectly on the corresponding Wikimedia Commons page at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Om%C3%B8_%26_Agers%C3%B8,_2006-06-04.jpg : the work is not properly attributed. The license is provided, but the photographer's name or user name is not mentioned. What should I or what should the Flickr upload bot owner or the Mediawiki developpers do so that the tool works perfectly on Commons ? Where is the good place to report such a bug ?
An alternative way of providing good attribution and finding it, is to include it into the picture's metadata and have users use a metadata viewing tool such as the Exif viewer add-on for Firefox.
