Also let me add that sourceforge.net is not perfect either. Sure account creation is not a problem, but: * CVS/SVN is slow * They have considerably more down-time than GNOME * Their bugtracking tool sucks * You are not in the same bugzilla as the libraries you use (so you can't just reassign bugs...) * You don't get the same translation benefits that you get at GNOME * They push a lot of ads in your mailing list and other parts of the project, to point a few problems with it. I've tried other services too, nongnu.org, gnu.org, and freedesktop.org. None is much faster/better than GNOME. So, I would say lets work on improving things here at GNOME.
