I wouldn't say I see a "divorce". I'd say it feels a bit sluggish, based on what others already said: late minutes or lack of visible response. And yes, it is unpleasant if one doesn't know what is happening and thus being able to take influence. So I would try to have the minutes sent around ASAP. But as far as I could see, nobody was suffering enough yet to publicly ask whether it'd be possible to make things more (timely) public. Generally though, I consider it to be a good thing if the Board is not terribly visible as I consider the Board as something that keeps the community (and thus the Foundation) alive and moving and as long as it doesn't need to stir things up, it's running well, I'd say.
