had the same issue here, we are running 8.0.1r on a Jetcore
environment (Big & NetIron with same software) pushing more than 1
Gbps of traffic across various upstreams and peerings.
Packetloss went away when issuing "ip arp-age xxx" to the box itself
or the various active interfaces.
Not precisely sure why but this fixed or problem. We are still taking
a closer look at the issue.
