Hi everyone,

I was able to save the output of the reload via minicom and a console cable. Here is the last entry made on the screen prior to reload:

trap_save done
d(05000000,00FFF000)efghijjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjijjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjod(04000000,01000000)efghijjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjijjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjo

Does anyone know how to decode this?

Yes, and they all work for Brocade.

IronWare is closed source. There are no symbol tables available for it. Brocade doesn't even offer anything like Cisco's Stack Trace tool.

If you had a year you could perhaps reverse engineer the software enough to gain some knowledge about it. And it may still turn out to be a memory/hardware problem (which is my gut feeling on this anyway).
