Hi, Diarius Only Cisco gear runs IOS. Foundry runs Ironware. They should still be able to "talk" to each other, though. Can you describe exactly what sort of problem you are having? A few things off the bat when interacting with Cisco might help:
Cisco, by default, uses a protocol to negotiate trunks (DTP) and sometimes you need to turn that off for the link to come up. If the Foundry gear is connected to a Cisco switch, you might need to go into the Cisco config, into the interface config and issue a command of "switchport nonegotiate" in order to turn off DTP. Note that has nothing to do with speed/duplex negotiation, it is only DTP negotiation. If the port on the Cisco is an 802.1q trunk, that needs to be configured specifically rather than negotiated. But that is just the most common issue I see with Cisco gear connected to Foundry. What problem are you having?
