hi,

even as it shows a failed status, the switch seems to work propoerly.
can anyone please explain the meaning of the "Switch Internal Loopback
Test"?
thanks,

This is a very common error with this switch, normally a cold reboot
will fix the issue but I've yet to see it cause any real effect on the
traffic passing through the device. I have however seen it disrupt ip
based management to the device (i.e. telnet, snmp, etc). As for a
detailed meaning of what that test is doing, I can't help you there.
