Transbot was forked from a project named lingo bot that was abandoned and we
could not get in contact with the upstream. As far as I can tell from the
source code, lingo bot was not orginonally based on any other bot. It uses
the python API irclib to interact with IRC and the Google translate API to
handle the translating.Right now we are looking at continuing to clean it
up, give it increased functionality and find a way to make it faster.
