Hi all, I am a little bit confused about the new forum. Is this a replacement for this newsgroup or is it an additional channel to the community?
In general I prefer forums about newsgroups, but I would like to have a single point of contact to the community. Reading a newsgroup and a forum in parallel takes to much time. Maybe the best would be to have both channels running in parallel and in sync. This means, that every thread of the newsgroup should be mirrored to the forum and vice- versa. Is this technically possible? Additionally I am surprised, that there is no use of this forum up to now. Maybe the reason is some bug in the login window. After logging in a wrong URL is used. The right URL seems to be "http:// forum.acmesystems.it/", but the login window calls "http:// forum.acmesystems.it./". Consequently I got a empty page. After removing the last dot I got the forum. ....................
