It seems normal

Could you try with a cross ethernet cable and another PC on the same
network ? It seem an hardware problem on the network (internal or 
external I don't know but in that way we can understand better...)

Ok. I've tried with a foXServe with the "kernel: mmc_drv.ko : card not 
found" problem and it is very fast in any way. Davide will contact you 
to explain how to uopgrade your firmware but we need to have reach a 
normal working state before update it.

About the FTP fault, on the foXServe is not active the FTP server. You 
have to use SSH or Webdav to transfer files.
