hi you all, I have to make an event counter of relative high precision. So I need a timer, but the standard timer is not very exact not at least because of the delay between expiration of the timer an the delivery of SIGALARM. What is the maximum delay that can occur? Or is there a way to get a better timer? I fear, the ITIMER_REAL is not good enough.
