Hello, and happy new year to all. I am quite new to linux and I am facing a simple issue: how to launch a script or a program at startup?
With the help of google, I found some information, but I don't know exactly if fox board board can accept everything. Do I have to place the script in the "init.d" directory? Is it compulsory? Can I place an executable program in this directory? Do I have to place links in /etc/rcx.d? In every rcx.d? Can I just add a line in /etc/inittab, with a script placed anywhere (/flash)? Where in /etc/inittab? Thank you all for your help. Leon.
