Hello Roberto,

I have never changed the flash partition table but I did notice that
when lan
flashing the SERNO was corrupt on the board (network would not start). So
I reinstalled the SDK and so far all is well.

As a note I have no idea how the SDK started to generation bad images as
there was no
message indicating that there was a problem during the build.

Regards,

Lloyd.

    Hello Lloyd,

It seems to me a problem with the image generated inside your SDK.
As a general rule, the WEB and FTP procedures of flashing can be used
only if you don't change the partition table (advanced settings in make
    menuconfig) of the SDK.
If you need to change that partition table the only method to flash the
Fox is through the LAN procedure.

In general LX816 boards are more reliable than the classic RED Foxes.

Please try to download from our the factory default image for your
    LX816:
    http://www.acmesystems.it/?id=704 <http://www.acmesystems.it/?id=704>

and try with that image to reflash your board via FTP or WEB.
Once you have a stable setup for flashing you can start to experiment
what's wrong inside the options of your SDK as I am convinced is your
    problem.
Let me know if you don't manage instead to reflash the Fox LX816 with
    the factory default image.

    Best regards,

    Roberto Asquini
