Dear Acme, We have the Classic and LX816 installed in various locations around our building all on the same sub-net. And have never had a problem flashing the Classic boards via FTP or HTTP. The LX816 sometime stop when 'Loading new file system...' All images are build from the same SDK. The only change I make in the SDK is the board type then I do make clean, ./configure, make. I do not understand why the LX816 stop loading as I can repeat the flashing process and it will load the same image that failed minutes before (this is not always the case). I know that lan flashing is the most reliable but this is not possible for us. I need 100% reliability.
