Hello Jacco, telnet is not enebled in foXServe since it has not been recognized as a good solution to remote login for security reasons.
The best way to login in foXServe is using ssh under Linux and putty under windows (a ssh console program). To exchange files with foXServe instead try using scp from Linux or Winscp from Windows. ftp should work on foXServe but scp is much more secure and reliable.
