Hello Rouven, I remember in the past, somebody had the same problem. I have search on the yahoo group database but i didn't see anything. I wonder if there is not a problem with major and minor driver number.
Take a look on the yahoo group historic and i'm sure you will find the solution. Could you post also you new code for the LM75? Note: Fox Board LX will not be sale anymore. New board G20 will replace LX with strong caracteristics (ARM9). For french people please take a look on the google group talking about it: http://groups.google.fr/group/groupe-de-discussion-autour-de-netus-g20-et-fox-board-g20 Best Regards Sébastien PHILIPPE > Message du 27/08/09 à 00h47 > De : "cbswbot" <[email protected]> > A : [email protected] > Copie à : > Objet : [foxboard] Question about I2C > > Hi all, > > i just wanted to read the temperature of an LM75(I2C). > > My firmware is a build with the version "30" sdk. > So i use the newest SDK. > > I used the code from here (little bit modified for the LM75), > http://foxlx.acmesystems.it/?id=10 > and the header files from this article. > http://foxlx.acmesystems.it/foxlx_acmesystems_it/00010/etraxi2c.h > http://foxlx.acmesystems.it/foxlx_acmesystems_it/00010/i2c_errno.h > > anytime i start it, i get the message: > Open error on /dev/i2c > > Do i need to do some config on the I2C to use it? > > And the next question, Geert Vancompernolle wrote in his PDF that i can use > (void i2c_read( unsigned char slave, unsigned char* rbuf, unsigned char rlen );) and so on.. > But where i can find this prototypes?
