Note, that JPG Files are compressed using a loss in picture quality. Also
JPG is not so effective for non-photo images. I would strongly recommend to
use the GIF format, it produces smaller files than JPG on non-photo images
and has no loss during the compression.
However, I do neither know, if "convert" supports GIF nor how to
automatically batch-convert xwds to GIF in case GIF is not supported by
"convert".
