Hi Rob,
An old helpful hint has been useful for us. HH734 (Oct 25, 1995) talks
about system slowdowns and describes a script to check various things.
If you have a directory called /opt/fox/bin/remote/tools there is a script
named slowdown.smo.
I think this directory will only be there if you have been on FoxWatch.
According to the helpful hint this script is also available from your
Foxboro field rep.
slowdown.smo generates tons of interesting data and helped us find a flaky
nodebus connection on one of our AWs.
Good Luck!

Subject: Display callup speed
List,
Last year I replaced AP20's with AW51D's, the WP30's
are still on the system.
Operators complained that the display callup
speed was greatly improved until 3 days later when speed
decreased to close to what it was before. I have looked at
loading and system counters (4000 connects denied, since Jan. 2001)
Is there any documents that address this issue or can anyone
suggest the likliest culprit?
Thanks in advance!
Rob Burnham
