We experienced a similar failure on three different occasions while >the CP's were still under warranty. After changing the front and back >"clips", Foxboro decided to replace the units that failed. It seems that there was a comm problem between the FT pair which allowed both CP40's to function as the 'slave' unit, so neither of the FT pair sent a heartbeat to the host AW. Foxboro has some experience with this problem too. You might try just reseating the front and rear clips. Hope this helps.
