There are some excellent Foxboro documents available that
detail the system calls and give example programs:
Object Manager Calls: B0193DF
Human Interface Calls: B0193BD
Interprocess Comm. Calls: B0193BB
I've used the Object Manager calls with great success,
and have some examples if you don't like the ones from
the Foxboro documentation. I haven't used the Human
Interface calls except for when I took SYS3, but haven't
found much use for them. As for the Interprocess Comm.
calls, you are better off using the regular UNIX IPC
routines like pipes and sockets rather than the Foxboro stuff.
They are easier to use, very portable if you want a Foxboro
Sun machine to talk to some other UNIX box, and more efficient
than the Foxboro routines. All these documents and examples
are for a Sun box, I don't know of any examples for the NT
machines, although I have had some success in using the
Foxboro Object Manager calls in NT using the Foxboro DLL's
