Hi Everybody,

I would use the dedit -R command.
This should produce a list of connections for a given FoxDraw graphic.
dedit -R produces a file named graphicname.txt which has the list of
connections in it. for example
dedit -R /opt/disp/unit1/Hard_Core_Boiler.fdf
This will generate a file called /opt/disp/unit1/Hard_Core_Boiler.txt

There is also a where used option, but I can not get it to work
properly. Typing dedit -h will give you a list of command line options.

Bye Everybody
Sean

Subject: Converting *.fdf files to *.g format
Date: Mon, 07 Feb 2000 16:11:06 -0800

I know you can convert fdf files to ASCII format (*.g files) in Foxdraw. Is
there a utility that will allow you to convert many files in batch mode?

What I am trying to do is that given a process data point, I want to find
out quickly on which graphics, if at all, this data point is configured.
One way of doing this is to convert all the display files to ASCII format
and then (hopefully) extract all the configured data points in the ascii
file so that a database can be built. Has anybody done similar things or
has a better solution?
