Frits,

Check to make sure you are not trying to write the same variable twice in
the same or in two lists list. The first time its used in an list it is
fine, the second time you use it, it is already secured by the first
list. If you change one of those instances of the duplicated C:B.P to
something else then they both work and the error goes away. I have done
that a couple of times by mistake and its a real drag to find.

One other possibility: Are you trying to write to a block output parameter
while the block is in Manual? For example the .PNT of an AIN block. I
vaguely remember something about the OM not reporting that an output
parameter is secured when the block is in MANUAL (until you try to write
it, that is).

If you are still stuck, then before you open the list with write access,
open it with read access and check to make sure they are not secured, then
go ahead and open it with write access. Note that even this does not
correctly diagnose the problem if you try to write a C:B.P twice in the
same list.
