I followed the development of the saveall script on this list, but never felt the need to change the way I had been doing save-alls. I use the following script scheduled to run every Sunday at 1 AM: date cd /opt/fox/ciocfg/api /opt/fox/ciocfg/api/save_all STATION1 /opt/save sleep 15 /opt/fox/ciocfg/api/save_all STATION2 /opt/save sleep 15 etc..... I redirect the output of this scheduled run to a log file so I can periodically check for any problems. The line in crontab looks like: 0 1 * * 0 /usr/scripts/save.script >> /opt/save/save_all.log I FTP this saveall data to an NT box with an AT script each Sunday morning after the savealls are done so I have a set off the AW, and then copy a set to our admin server so I have a set off plant. I also get DM graphics files at the same time so I have a backup of those too. Regards, Kevin FitzGerrell Process Control/Systems Admin Fairbanks Gold Mining, Inc.
