Lance, I'm not sure if this will help your problem
much, but you can set up lower case variables on a
Display Manager trend, you just can't do it initially.
If you set your trend up, do a d_edit -dump of the
trend, change the variables to your lowercase name,
and then do a d_edit -upload you should have your
trend with lowercase variables. If this works for you
let me know -- I've done this by accident, never on
purpose!
