OK, I got it. Like Warren Brown suggested, I scammed a bunch of lines from
the /etc/rc2.d/S99FOXBORO script. I chopped out what looked like startup
code for OpenWindows and was left with a bunch of
VAR=stuff; export VAR
lines. That was just what I wanted.
