Hi Duc,
Thanks! I will go ahead & add the OAJ variables to init.user & proceed
with the "rebootations".
Does it matter that the variables are also in the wp51_glbls file? Or
does that file get re-created during each boot?

Subject: RE: OAJ startup at boot
Here's what I have in my /usr/fox/wp/data/init.user file:
#
# set up the OAJ to collect op.actions from this station
OJL=$DMNAME
OJLOG=DLP13,Ehst04a
gctsize=14
dmtlist=OJLOG
the main setting is in the second line: make LP13 the default printer, and
enable the OAJ historian, which in our case is centrally collected into
hst04a.
I used to modified the wp51_glbls, but now I consolidate all of the
customzed changes into init.user. Much easier to manage since all the
setting are in one place.
And yes, by putting these setting into the init.user, all of your DM glbls
files are created with these setting and all of their operator actions are
collected automagically. No other action by you is needed.
Hope this helps, Steve.
