it's probably not exactly what you are looking for but what about this:
<Name of CP>_ECB:<Name of FBM>.ECBSTA.X8001
Example:
01CF01_ECB:01FBM1.ECBSTA.X8001
If you put this link in a CIN block it will give you a 1 if either bit 0
(ECB is on-scan) or bit 15 (ECB is on) or both bits goes away which
indicates that the FBM has a problem. There are a number of other bits in
the ECBSTA parameter which could help you finding out which problem it is.
