Hi everyone! Just wanted to finally de-lurkify myself, and also say thanks for all the tips and info I've been shamelessly skimming for the last year! I am a Katrina transplant from New Orleans to Birmingham, Al, and after three years of piddling around with volunteer events and a few birthdays, I'm finally getting myself together and going for the whole face art gig here in my new home. Thought about just chucking the whole thing for a while, but evidently face painting is addictive, and there's quite a demand here and not many painters. Seriously, Snaz should come with a warning! My "real" job is portrait art, so it's not like I'm not getting my creative fix, but I just can't seem to quit! (It's kinda weird - on weekdays I paint children, and on weekends I paint ON children!)
Anyway, finally got the website up - feedback always welcome! Sometimes things that look fine on my monitor are totally messed up on somebody else's. Please feel free to tell me if anything is really lame. Dear Gary, I am totally a Snaz convert! Started with Paradise, and no offense Mehron, but the stuff just doesn't last. My Snaz 18mls last forever! Just got some electric blue and it's great! Perfect Batman color. That's it for now. Be seeing ya'll around!
