Sharon, So sorry you have been having such bad experiences with another painter.
I am hearing more and more of these stories--newcomers who think that "anybody can face paint" -- and that it is a 'good little hobby' !!! ACK!!! My usual response to that last remark is that like anything else, it can be a hobby, but it is my business, and I am constantly looking for new and better ways to honor our clients! Thank you for sharing your pictures, though. I liked looking at your set-up. It is fascinating to me how different people set up the same stuff! LOL Is your chair the regular height for tall chairs? I am on the hunt for one--between the tall and regular size. Since I'm only 5' 1, I cannot use the tall chair, but I have been borrowing a wooden chair from another painter, and I really like it. I do not want to carry a wooden chair around for the rest of my life, however! LOL I checked out Dick Blick, but couldn't tell if it was too tall.
