The Face Painting and Body Art Convention is January 4-8th, 2009 with a theme
"Storybooks and Fairy tales" we are opening a contest targeting this theme.
Submissions can be
Full Face Facepainting (full face must cover at least half the face) or Body
Painting (PG 13 rules apply) Submissions must somehow fit the theme. Those that
submit might be asked how their submission fits the theme.
Contest deadline is November 23, 2008. Prize winners will be chosen by their
peers through the regular Snazaroo voting rules.
1st Prize, Subscription to the FPBA Magazine and feature artist in the FPBA
Magazine.
All winning photos, including honorable mentions, will be published in the FPBA
Magazine
We will post all submissions on the same page but people will vote for entries
on both the face painting as well as the body painting. The contest will end on
Nov 23 regardless of the number of submissions.
Based on editorial discretion, one winner will possibly have the opportunity to
be the cover of the magazine and /or the Convention T-shirt. All winning
entries (including honorable mentions) are the property of the FPBAA for the
purposes of promoting the FPBA Convention (possibly on a Convention t-shirt)
and may be published in the FPBA Magazine. Members of the list will vote for
the winner in regards to prizes but FPBA has the right to select the photo of
their choice for the magazine.
